Good day

I was invloved in a car accident, therefore i was not the one who was driving the car, instead a friend was driving when the accident happened.I was with the friend but i was sitting at the passengers seat.We hit another vehicle but unfortunately my car was right off.My question is my friend who was driving when the accident occured is no way to be found because on the accident scene he ran away,i have not seen him since or got hold of him.Im now left with a police case of a hit and run. What are my chances of being jailed.
