Question value: R 100.00
I have documents of my late father that states that his claim is admitted as CAPITAL DISABILITY CLAIM AND THE AMOUNT OF R124 508,00 WILL ONLY BE PAYABLE ON THE 1st of January 1999 unfortunately he passed away on the 24th of December 1998. During this period we where busy with funeral arrangements but the payment of the above claim never proceeded. According to the agreement, should the disability occurs first the premiums of the remaining period of normal retirement will be payed to keep the member covered. When he passed away only death benefit was received. The gross remuneration that appears on the IRP5 tax certificate is R240 502, 00 but the amount received by dependants is 121 508,00. Is this correct?
