Hi there and thank you for your question,

It really does depend on which Court your guardianship order was granted in.

By way of an example, in the Cape Town High Court the actual court order typically takes about 3 - 4 days to become available.

In the Pretoria High Court, it also takes about 3 days.

Which court was your order granted in?

Hi there Lerato,

It will take at least a week for the Court Order to become available.

If you are close to the court, I would suggest that you visit the court and ask for the general office, and then ask for the upliftment of the court file. In the court file you should be able to find the court order.

If the court file is not available, you need to ask to see the typists and then ask them if the court order has been typed or not.

They will be able to give you the answer!
